Our Journey
Welcome to Doaba Meat Shop and Take-out Restaurant, your one-stop
destination for fresh halal meats and authentic Indian food in
northeast Calgary. Named after the Doaba region of Punjab, our
journey began with a simple mission — to bring traditional Punjabi
meat preparation and homestyle cooking to the growing community in
Taradale, Saddle Ridge, and surrounding neighbourhoods. What
started as a meat shop has grown into a full Indian restaurant and
butcher counter, serving families who want both raw and cooked
Punjabi food under one roof.

Our Menu
Our diverse menu features an impressive selection of authentic
Indian and Punjabi dishes, including our popular Fish Pakora,
Chicken Biryani, Lamb Biryani, Goat Biryani, and a wide range of
tandoori and marinated meat items. Alongside our full kitchen
serving appetizers, Indo-Chinese dishes, curries, thali combos,
and desserts, our butcher counter offers fresh raw cuts, marinated
meats ready for the tandoor, and prepared meat products for home
cooking — all halal.

neighbourhood plaza at 7171 80 Ave NE Unit 129, we proudly serve
Taradale, Saddle Ridge, Martindale, Falconridge, and all of
Calgary's northeast.
